It’s Bandcamp Friday, and for it, Omaha’s David Nance has released a full-album cover of The Cure’s classic 1989 masterpiece, that he’s titled Shameless Kiss. Nance has a unique, ragged brand of heartland indie rock and he transforms Disintegration fully into that arena. He’s also renamed all songs with other lyrics from those songs: “Lovesong” becomes “You Make Me Feel Like I Am Free Again,” “Pictures of You” becomes “Stone White,” “Lullaby” becomes “Dinner,” etc.

“Definitely my fave of Bob’s music as a whole album, front to back,” Nane writes on Instagram. “And that’s saying a lot, being the greatest British band and all… Went real sincere with this one(sorry).”
