Watch blink-182 and Green Day play new songs at When We Were Young + Lil Wayne, Tony Hawk & more

blink-182 played their first show since the release of their new album One More Time… at Las Vegas’ When We Were Young festival last night (10/21). They didn’t play the song on the new album that’s also called “When We Were Young,” but they did play “More Than You Know,” “Dance With Me,” “Edging,” and they closed the set with the sentimental title track, after playing their usual set-closer “Dammit.” Judging by the fan-shot videos we’ve seen, the new stuff sounded great–watch for yourself and check out their full setlist below.

blink co-headlined the fest with Green Day, who also played a new song, the not-yet-released “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” for the second time ever. They first debuted it an intimate pre-WWWY show in Vegas, where they also revealed they’re doing a 2024 stadium tour with The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas (dates TBA). The new song officially comes out as a single on Tuesday (10/24). Watch them play it at WWWY and also check out their full setlist below.

Also at WWWY day one: Tony Hawk joined Goldfinger on stage to sing “Superman” and Avril Lavigne joined All Time Low to do her classic hit “Sk8er Boi.” Videos of those moments below too.

UPDATE: WWWY day two happened, and it saw Green Day debuting another new song, “Look Ma, No Brains,” which is expected to the B-side of their upcoming single. Last but not least, while in Vegas, Travis Barker stopped by Madame Tussauds Las Vegas to check out the new Travis Baker wax figure. “I’m honored, I’m flattered, I’m shocked. It looks so f**king real,” he said. Here he is, taking a selfie with it:
