Portland, Oregon-based producer Jade River is back with WRONG SIDE, PT. 3, featuring Los Angeles-based emcee Destruct, via Ground Zero Records
‘Wrong Side, Pt. 3‘ is the third part of the trilogy by Jade River featuring Destruct. As one of the hardest-working emcees in LA today, Destruct has shown what it takes to gain acclaim and respect in one of the most unforgiving music scenes in the world.
Born on August 16th, 1988 in Los Angeles, CA to a Brazilian mother and Chilean father. All throughout his life he was exposed to diverse genres of music ranging from Samba to Rock en Espanol. By the age of 6 Destruct became fascinated with hip-hop music and started rapping & beatboxing.
At the age of 17 Destruct entered the LA Hip Hop scene and within his first three years, he rocked hundreds of shows with legends like KRS-One, Slum Village, Dilated Peoples, Rakim, Psycho Realm, Method Man from Wu-Tang & more. He has also collaborated with artists such as Grammy award-winning Sirah, Sean Price, Kev Brown, Blu, and Exile to just name a few.
It’s been a decade that Destruct has been in the music scene and has released 32 studio albums and counting, including 2 with his live band “Inner City Soul”. He has been blessed as well to run his own studio ‘Area 52’ in the city of Van Nuys, California where he provides recording and executive producer services. He also now has a film production company called ‘The Resident People’ with a lot more in store to come.
All and all Destruct is here to be much more than your everyday Hip Hop artist, but a true contributor to the culture and lifestyle, progressing the movement forward. Destruct is here for a legacy, not a trend.
Mixed and Mastered by Deeskee for Weightless Audio LA, Via Ground Zero Records, Marketed by Ground Zero Entertainment PDX.
Be on the lookout for more projects dropping in 2024 from Jade River & Destruct.
