ROADBURN ADDITIONS

Roadburn has announced a few more additons to its 2024 lineup: The Jesus and Mary Chain, Chelsea Wolfe, Lankum and clipping. Roadburn 2024 happens April 18-21 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

DESCENDENTS / CIRCLE JERKS / ADOLESCENTS

Punk greats Descendents, Circle Jerks and Adolescents have announced a 2024 US tour which kicks off kicks off March 15 in Tempe and wraps up in NYC at the soon-to-open, restored Brooklyn Paramount on April 13.

THE KILLS

The Kills have announced a 2024 tour in support of their upcoming album God Games, which is out this Friday via Domino. Dates begin February 2 in Santa Ana, CA and then make their way across the US and Canada before winding their way back to California to wrap up the tour in Oakland on March 16.

PJ HARVEY

PJ Harvey’s new album I Inside the Old Year Dying came out back in July and she’s planning a North America tour for next fall, but she’ll be in NYC in just a couple weeks to talk about the album and her latest book of poetry, Orlam, and play a few songs at an event titled ‘I Inside the Old Year Dying: Poetry, Conversation, Music.’

UNDERWORLD

Rick Smith and Karl Hyde will take Underworld on the road in 2024. So far it’s only UK/EU dates with stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Burssels, Frankfurt, Edinburgh, London and Manchester. Fingers crossed for North America and while we wait check out Underworld’s new single “Denver Luna”:

RONNY CHIENG

Comedian Ronny Chieng, who you may know from The Daily Show or Shang-Chi, has announced the “Love to Hate It” tour with dates running from January through June. The NYC stop is at Radio City Music Hall on 1/27. Use code MONEY to access the presale.

WINTER JAZZFEST 2024

The NYC Winter Jazzfest 2024 lineup includes Shabaka Hutchings, Hannibal Buress, Moor Mother, a Ryuichi Sakamoto tribute, esperanza spalding, Irreversible Entanglements, Marc Ribot, Elucid of Armand Hammer, a Pharoah Sanders tribute, and more.

Fiest has announced the final dates of her show-stopping Multitudes tour which happens in February, 2024 with stops in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

“It’ll be a colorful, sweet, nostalgic time,” Lucius say of the ‘Wildewoman – The Anniversary Tour.’ “We may even bring back some of those old lewks tucked away in the attic.”

COCO (MEMS DIRTY PROJECTORS, PAVO PAVO, LUCIUS)

Maia Friedman (Dirty Projectors), Oliver Hill (Pavo Pavo), and Dan Molad (Lucius) will release their second album as Coco on March 1 and will tour shortly after.

KATY KIRBY

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Katy Kirby signed to ANTI- over the summer, and now she’s announced her second album, and first for the label. Blue Raspberry is due out on January 26. She’ll also tour with Allegra Krieger.

FIDDLEHEAD

Fiddlehead wrapped up their 2023 tour supporting their fantastic new album Death Is Nothing To Us earlier this month, and now they’ve announced their first shows of 2024.

FRIGHTWIG

Feminist punk greats Frightwig have a few shows lined up in support of their new album We Need to Talk... including NYC’s TV Eye on November 11. That’s a double release party, with Scorpion Tea also celebrating, plus Loveletter open the show. They’ve also got shows in January in San Francisco and San Jose.

NICKEL CREEK

Bluegrass vets Nickel Creek have announced an extensive 2024 tour that starts February 6 in Iowa City and wraps up May 2 in Little Rock, AK. The tour hits the NYC-area at Newark’s Prudential Hall on March 15.

HIGH WATER FESTIVAL 2024

Shovels & Rope have announced the return of their High Water Festival for 2024, happening on April 20 and 21 at Riverfront Park in N. Charleston, SC. The lineup includes The Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes, Courtney Barnett, The Walkmen, Kevin Morby and more.

JESUS JONES

Early-’90s dancerock hitmakers Jesus Jones will be right here, next spring for a short North American tour. Stops include Minneapolis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Toronto, Boston, CT, and Philly before wrapping things up with shows in Long Island (Mulcahy’s on 4/5) and NYC (Sony Hall on 4/7).
