Chance The Rapper will be hitting the screen for a murder mystery movie called Slice. According to Fader, the film is about the death of a pizza delivery driver. The film will be released next year and is directed by Austin Veseley. Vesely provided creative direction for Chano’s song with The Social Experiment, “Sunday Candy.” He’s also known for directing videos for Vic Mensa and singer Eryn Allen Kane. Slice will be the Chi-town rapper’s second starring role in a movie. Back in March, Chance starred in a 23-minute short firm called Mr. Happy.
There was a little confusion regarding whether or not Slice will be a short film. However, Austin took to Twitter to clear things up, saying, “#Slice is actually a feature-length” film rather than a short one.
Just so everybody knows, #SLICE is actually a feature-length no holds barred action-packed thrill ride, not a short film.

A promotional account on Instagram was created for the film a while ago, but this week’s it’s resurfaced with promo images of Chance. Check out another below.
Chance The Rapper brought out Kendrick Lamar at the Teens in the Park (TIP) Festival in Chicago yesterday (June 24). Kendrick’s arrival was a total surprise for the teens.
Chano and Kendrick recently performed together at Bonnaroo during Earth Wind & Fire’s set where they freestyled as the band rocked on.
