She Got Game: Former Univ. of Louisville Lady Hooper Drops New Music, Begins Rap Career

Charmaine Tay is a former ESPN High School All-American, who played for the University of Louisville under Jeff Walz and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 with the Lady Cardinals.

Tay also played with the Clemson Tigers, where she was part of arguably the most decorated recruiting class in the history of Clemson.

Fresh out of college, Tay is quickly crafting her niche as a recording artist under her alias Maineyy. Just as quickly as she became the Big Kid on Campus during her  college basketball career, she’s rising in the music industry game. Her debut single “Come Get High” is streaming on SoundCloud and is also produced by Tay.

A double threat with vocals and production, folks have already started comparing Charmaine Tay to a female J Cole. She’s obviously got game on and off the court. Peep her single that features cover art by designer heavyweight Shalé.
